This is our National Festival. This is the red letter day in the history of India. On this day we got the Independence. National festivals like the Republic Day, the Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti are celebrated with great patriotic fervor.

These days have been declared as national holidays for Indian people. They celebrate in all parts of the country with great zeal and enthusiasm. New Delhi is the capital to celebrate these occasions.

15 August has a special meaning for all the people of the country. It reminds the people of India of the sacrifice that the freedom fighters had to undergo for winning freedom. 

They lost everything to get freedom from the East India Company.

The 15 of August is the outcome of a series of long and continued struggles. During the celebration of 15 August Armed Forces, school children from across the country also participate in the parade. 

Every schools and government organization celebrate according to the pre-decided rules of flag hosting. The authority gives the speech about - 15August: Introduction, Importance, History, Cause of Celebration.

According to the History of India, when Mahatma Gandhi appeared on the scene this expression became active. He instilled a sense of patriotism in the heart of the Indian people. 

So many great men like C R Das, Madan Mohan Malaviya, Motilal Nehru, Rajendra Prasad, Subhas Chandra Bose. The result was that the twentieth century saw a great struggle for freedom on Indian Soil. 

These people played a vital role to get the independence of our country. We should not be lost the name from our memory.

The biggest role played by Gandhi Ji to ignite the people of the country for the non-cooperation movement. The impact was big. British was shocked by this movement and they could not be survived long times.

Finally, Gandhijee started the ‘Quit India Movement’ in 1942. His ‘Do or Die’ mission was accepted by the people and the whole country come together to fight or rebellion against the British rule in India. 
There was no option left for the Britishers to quit India. On the 15th of August 1947, they finally handed over the power to the people of India and quit Indian Soil to make new India.

During the celebration of 15th August, there is joy and gaiety throughout the day. Public meetings are held and the significance of the day is explained among them. 

Children are enjoining whole day and participate in the different type of cultural activity arrange by school or society.

Every free country of the world has the memorable day. This day brings for us a message that we should be vigilant over our independence and should be unit and fight if any other country tries to intervene in our matter. We should be prepared to shed our blood for it. Happy 15th August
